One common complaint from users is the lack of customization and personalization in off-the-shelf arm prosthetics offered by many startups. While these devices may be more affordable and accessible, they often do not fit the unique needs and preferences of individual users. This can lead to discomfort, limited functionality, and dissatisfaction with the overall user experience. Another issue that has been raised by users is the durability and reliability of arm prosthetics from some startups. Some individuals have reported issues with the devices breaking or malfunctioning soon after purchase, leading to frustration and inconvenience. In some cases, users have had to wait extended periods for repairs or replacements, impacting their daily lives and mobility. Additionally, concerns have been raised about the lack of comprehensive support and guidance provided to users of arm prosthetics from certain startups. Users have expressed a desire for more personalized assistance, training, and follow-up care to ensure they are able to properly use and maintain their devices over time. Without adequate support, users may struggle to fully benefit from their prosthetic arm and adapt to their new way of life. While startups in the arm prosthetics industry are making strides in innovation and advancing technology, addressing these complaints will be crucial to ensure the success and impact of their products. By prioritizing customization, durability, and user support, startups can better meet the diverse needs of individuals requiring arm prosthetics and enhance their overall quality of life. As the industry continues to evolve, listening to user feedback and incorporating their suggestions will be essential for driving positive change and creating meaningful solutions for amputees.
